TOP THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN MOVING TO THE MIDDLE EAST FROM EUROPE
Moving or relocating to the Middle East sounds great but there are many things to take into consideration before making the move.

Robs top tips to consider before taking the plunge are:
- Moving to the Middle East with your family can be harder work than you think.
- Have you looked into the cost of schooling?
- If your partner is coming with you will they be working when there?
- Did you know that in most countries they will want 1 years rent in advance!
- If you’re not moving with family have you considered what it will be like living away from them?
- The cost of living is high so you tend to spend what you earn!
- Most people placed in the Middle East have struggled when wanting to come home because of the drop in salary.
- Make sure you have an end game in terms of how long you want to stay out there for.
- The weather can be extremely hot at certain times of the year which sounds great but can wear you down.
- Some Middle East the laws can be quite restrictive on what a woman can wear and what they can do.
- In a lot of countries in the Middle East you will require a licence signed by your company to allow you to drink including the UAE
- In some countries drinking is prohibited.

A global leader within the integrated security systems market is seeking a Head of Engineering to oversee a team of security systems Engineers & Project Managers in the Middle East. The role can be based out of KSA or Kuwait.
Candidates should have a proven track record of managing systems engineers, project management experience ideally across CCTV and Access Control. Applicants must hold a degree in an Engineering discipline such as Electronics. The package is circa $110,000 (Tax Free).
