TDSi EXgarde 4.1 integration with Milestone
TDSi’s EXgarde 4.1 integrated security software features full integration with Milestone’s Enterprise and Corporate video management software. From a single IP-enabled access portal, security operators are able to use EXgarde 4.1’s Explorer to directly monitor CCTV feeds via Milestone’s XProtect Corporate or Enterprise software range, tagging events and using Video Verification
TDSi’s new EXgarde 4.1’s integration with Milestone’s software means security operators can take advantage of its wide scope of video surveillance solutions to manage their entire security enforcement from one place. With direct links to CCTV feeds (through Milestone’s software or TDSi’s own VUgarde2 CCTV management software), along with input from Texecom’s alarm systems, EXgarde 4.1 can then collate this information and rapidly advise security staff. Additionally, as users gain access their location is logged with Microsoft Active Directory, and any security breach can also trigger IT system protocols that control the level of access available in certain areas, to minimise the possibility of unwarranted removal of data. This offers a superb way to integrate physical security with the IT security systems to provide a total picture of organisational security.
EXgarde 4.1 also provides Video Verification, whereby security events trigger a pop-up displaying live video from a chosen camera and the operator can then choose to grant or deny entry. Integration with Milestone’s systems is also ideal for event tagging and compliance. EXgarde 4.1 also makes searching for recordings of incidents easier with recording being searchable by date and time directly through EXgarde Explorer, without the need for operators to move between separate pieces of software.
Innovative technology for network cameras
The integration of PoE-IP cameras within the Ethernet network has never been so easy!
With the new IPM technology (Intelligent Power Management) you can make a complete cctv system operate with the use of one single network cable.
This new technology is able to get the most out of PoE/HiPoE for the perfect operation of an IP camera, heater, ventilation and LED illuminator using the power provided by the Ethernet cable as the sole power source for all connected devices.
The benefit a greater reliability and flexibility of a network system in addition to simplifying installation operations and reducing costs.
Smart distribution of power!
The IPM system automatically detects all accessories connected (heater, ventilation and LED illuminator) to perform an automatic power balance and an appropriate distribution of the same to the connected devices. This ensures optimum operation of the IP camera from -30°C (22°F) to 60°C (140°F). Six LED placed on the connection board help to identify and diagnose the status of the system.
Keep an eye to the environment!
Moreover this system has been designed to be green friendly! With the Retrofit Slide Kit you need to simply change the internal slide and electronics for an easy upgrade from an old analog system to IP.
